The Street.com article is indeed interesting. The writers indicate that the delay in distribution is a concern, because products that appeal to large markets tend to attract big partners and get launched quickly. On the other hand, delays generate concern.

Darby claims to be conducting further testing in a Dallas hospital, and Maisels thinks that the device needs further testing before it can be relied upon to replace the heel stick. Maisels was paid about $5,900 for his work, but has no stock or options. Maisels reiterated his comments about Asensio, and Asensio reiterated his about Maisels.

CCSI apparently has not yet lined up a distributor, but expects to do so and be shipping product by the end of summer, or perhaps the first part of fall.

As for Magic Moe and the Stock Genie, Darby denied ever using them, but the writers could not get in contact with Stock Genie to verify.

All in all, some free publicity for CCSI. I'm sure there will be great debate as to what it all means, but I'll leave that up to the rest of you.
