I know you're not big on TA -

You're talking to a former card carrying affiliate member of the Market Technicians Association. Even completed my CMT Level I. Thought too much of it was garbage so I dropped out.

but when I see a substantial drop - and the price is already below the 70 DEMA - and see it continue to drop on heavy volume, I'm in - and find out the details later.

I often screen for low RS stocks which is kinda kissin' cousins with what you're doing. Must confess that the first thing I do when I'm considering taking a position in a stock is pull up a chart. I keep it simple though no EMAs, no stochastics, no %R, no MACD, just look for near term support and resistance levels.

Sounds like this is working for you, keep me posted.
