I do not think the crime level we have is based upon guns-- it is based upon the War on Drugs... The War makes guns evil in connection...

Remember Ed Kochs "if you get caught with a gun your doing a year in jail " give me a break....Good lord..... if you shoot someone now you are lucky to do any time at all...The amount of time and effort to purchase a gun, illegally in NYC is about the same as drugs....maybe 1 hour if its your first time in the city.... a cab ride if you live there.
