In its present state I totally agree. What really scares me is the huge amount of financial
resources they would have if they managed to pull off a good sized secondary at prices
anywhere near todays.. Yes the stock would tank, but with the amount of money they
would generate, they could stay in business one hell of a long time..

Who knows, they might even do something with the cash to earn a profit, but it won't be
books...

It is my opinion all the money in the world willnever make this a profitable company. Meaning a capital influx from a secondary. There is been a lot of hype about AMZN being first on the net. Some question why it took BKS and BGP so long to make a presence. Possibly and likely, they understood that there was only a very small percentage of people on the net in 1996. Why waste money advertising to such a small group. They waited until the net started to become mainstream. Now they are spending where they will get a return on their dollar. AMZN managment are excellent Wall Street people but not retail business people of any kind.
