Maybe some humor would help the situation? This guy comes home from work in a pickle factory and tells his wife "Honey, I have a tremendous urge to stick my thing in the pickle slicer." "Don't do it!" his wife says, "please, that would be terrible, don't do it." "Okay," he says. A week later, the guy comes home and says "Honey, I still have this tremendous urge to stick my thing in the pickle slicer." "Don't do it!" his wife pleads again, "who knows what will happen to you! Promise me you won't do it!" "Okay," he says, "I promise." A week later, the guy comes home and says "Honey, I know I promised, but I just couldn't help myself any longer!
