The lawsuits are old news. They weren't all about accounting. I think there were about two or three of any significance. I think there was some discussion on this thread about that in the last year, you may want to go back and read prior posts. I do know that one of them was recently settled and involved a payment of I believe $1.8 million but this was to be paid to Acclaim on behalf of the shareholders by the liability insurance carrier. This particular one doesn't involve Acclaim paying a payment to a third party out of profits. It benefits shareholders because it is paid to Acclaim. I don't know all the details about the others. I wouldn't worry about it because I don't think they have very much bearing on overall performance or profit. Of course, if someone has more information, they may want to post it. I think whoever posted that on the other board doesn't know very much about it and is just voicing some dissent not based on any accurate knowledge. Consider the source. I have not seen as much competitive bad mouthing about other stocks/companies as there is on the boards for these software games. I think it is kind of silly, if you read the boys on the ERTS and THQI, etc. boards occasionally take stabs at Acclaim. I think too much of the competition, shoot 'em up mentality of the games themselves has rubbed off on some of these "investors." Let's see, maybe I can start a board "Walmart versus Sears" or "Citcorp versus Bank of America." <g> Anyway, sorry I can't be of more help. Where does this issue keep popping up?
