Hi BB; FA always goes out the window when the market goes nuts,
who know how high it will go. TA can show the shorter to mid term
trend and all you can do is go with the trend.
The Yo Yo and MO MO funds are relativiley a new addition to the market, and a change like that makes historic charting over long periods invalid.
TA on a broad index don't work, unless you look at the internals. ie the divergence and liquidity factor, it loses it
liquidity as the smaller caps out run the larger ones, and gains
the other way around with the smaller ones whipping above and below
the big ones if you look at the rate of change. By and large the
Big caps set the tone, or trend to come.
Well today the dollar is up and interest rates down , and that's
crazy too..so who knows ?
