This is nuts. This and all other stocks must be valued based on anticipated future profits. Mass hysteria can only last so long and many will get burned. Your attempt at rationalizing based on envy of AOL or Yahoo only feeds hysteria.

Netscape fell because its profits fell.

By the way, that was a nice chart.
