Ike, I agree with your statements and it is indeed a fact that Japan,
Inc. was kept afloat by investments into US TBs, etc.....and recursively the markets in the US have walked with a strong upward bias. IMO Japan is on strong course to recovery....the implications here (short term) would be a negative for bonds leading to decline in stocks. Mid to long term, strong Japan is net positive to global economy.
