Larry:

You have to lighten up a bit, or risk heart failure, here. First of all the whole post was meant to be a bit "tongue in cheek". As a matter of fact it was an opening joke in Jay Leno's monolouge. McDougal was released from custody and political prisoners were one of the main topics in the China visit.

I stand corrected if it was a Federal Judge that released her, rather the then the Supreme Court, but it makes little difference to the point of the issue.

The point of the post was, the similarities to being held in "contempt" which often doesn't allow for trial by jury and other normal constitutional protections, and the plight of political prisoners in China, the issues putting McDougal in the slammer started as "political issues" masquerading as criminal charges. ( a bit of freedom of speech here Larry don't blow your left gasket)

I would not want anyone to take his moronic drivel seriously

Really Larry there is just no need to be obnoxious so I won't answer in kind :)))
