Paul,

You mentioned in your last post that IR told you "we do not need
authorization for additional shares in order to split."

This would be true if the majority of shareholders already gave
their authorization for additional shares. In any case, the
"authorization" comes first I believe prior to the Board's
stock split recommendation followed by shareholders approval.
