Hi John. They have been used in the past, but not to this magnitude. This kind of data is normally reserved for the IR section of the company. They will talk to you on the phone and tell you they have a whopper of a discovery but require more field work before publishing the information.

You said:So for a guy like myself who knows very little about geology are these techniques used by Guido totally radical?

I treat this data as being right up there with the announcement of "cold fussion".**NOTE** NOT BECAUSE IT TURNED OUT TO BE FALSE!! but because not enough DD was done by the scientists involved to support or disprove such an outrageous claim, before they made it!! In pursuit of being FIRST they failed even the most rudimentary scrutiny.

Geologists by their very nature, dream at nights of finding another Grassberg deposit. It's like you and I dreaming about our fantasies. In our lives our fantasies change as we get older ie. (well built women too... well built boats or cars..har-har) Well Geologists never change, they have dreamed about the "BIG KAHUNA DEPOSIT" for all of their lives, and continue to do so. As a result when they think they have something good, they go into "high-verbage" before they have the data or "timeline"(very important) to support it. The impact is not that bad under normal circumstances. ie. Claim to have 1.5mm ozs of gold on a property that has only 2 drill holes. It is the magnitude of the statements made by Guido that automatically make one look at things with Jondace(SP) Eye. This does not mean he is wrong, or his claim is wrong, however it makes his claim inappropriate given the "minerals environment" we are in. When things are inappropriate, they become suspicious.

Let me just say this,.... if this was a Canadian Company people south of the border(US) would be screaming blue bloody murder about this outrageous claim!!!!(post-bre-x)

You must admit that a leap from 6.4mm ozs to anything more than 10mm ozs without "grooming" the audience is deadly in this environment.

So lets look what a claim of 100mm ozs does!

Well a whole bunch of people want to believe it, but are scared that this is another "B" stock. Most that hold the stock are praying they are going to be rich, or at worst will break even, all the time hoping, as a minimum, the 6.4mm ozsis correct! Others are glad they don't hold the stock, more are unsure what to do! Still others say, hell it was only $2000 bucks, I can afford to lose it.

Is this the environment for investment ANY company purposely sets out to establish ? I think not..... no the claim is inappropriate in this format, IMHO.
