Ike, you are right about Japan not selling TBs. My point was about the "new" funds flowing in every week that is pushing the markets higher in the presence of lackluster corporate performance. A temporary reprieve in the flow of "new" funds will negatively impact the credit markets and hence the stock market...short term. However your analysis of the mid to long term effects are very correct. A stimulus to Japan's internal economy will create a great "export" boom for US companies since as you have pointed out, US companies have evolved into meaner, more productive engines plus massive competitive edge in computing and information/knowledge technologies.
