Gator has a reason to be skeptic, he's been holding for a long time now. There were many times where I lost it and was ready to sell but finally it looks like my patience will pay off.

HNLY press release does not say audited financial results will be released on or about July 15.

It says:

"The firm expects to complete its audit on or about July 15, 1998. Their audit will become part of a filing that the company expects to make with the Securities and Exchange Commission."

Depending on exactly what kind of filing HNLY intends to make with SEC, the filing could include a heck of a lot more than audited financials. Unless all of the text for the filing is already done when auditors finish up, the filing well could take place long after July 15 -- even assuming the auditors don't have disagreements with HNLY's accounting and/or want to qualify their opinions. In any event, HNLY never has filed an annual or quarterly report with the SEC, so there might be a lot to catch up on in any SEC filing.

Interesting that HNLY press release offers no idea of when company intends to file with SEC. Also does not say company will release audited financials before SEC filing, and indeed seems to say we only get to see the financials when we read the SEC filing.

Key reason for latest press release may not have anything to do with being "investor friendly." May be more an attempt at CYA, since HNLY previously promised to make an SEC filing well before July.
