I just read this morning that AOL (I live in the Virginia/MD
area) is NOT allowing @HOME (cable modems) to connect to
them...what kind of BS is this?

if you find the article give me a link. aol might not want to be the isp, but i can not
imagine how they would distinguish the connection from a t1, 56k, cable, adsl, and stop
one from connecting.

I went back to read the article more carefully, and I realized
you were right. I misread the article. It said that @HOME
wouldn't let AOL run through the @HOME network, since it
had spent so much $$ on infrastrucre.

This was in the Wash Post last thursday 3/2, in the
business section...I looked through the archive and couldn't
find a link.
