June 22, 1998 The Enterprise 4000 mail servers are now processing all customer e-mails. June 22, 1998 The continued expansion of MegsINet, Inc. own carrier backbone is on schedule with final turnup due August 1, 1998. Over the last 6 months MegsINet, Inc. has been installing a private nationwide DS3 (45 mps) Network. We have opened full peering sessions at the ameritech Nap and Mae-east. We will be installing the Pensauken New Jersey - Sprint International Nap During July. The DS3 circuits from Chicago to Denver and Denver to San Francisco Are scheduled for Final turn up August 1, 1998. June 22, 1998 The following additional upgrades have occurred in MegsINet Cities: Chicago -Additional 480 Phone Lines Chicago -2 New 7500 Series Cisco Routers Chicago - 2 Catalyst 5000 Ethernet Switches Detroit -72 Additional Phone Lines Louisville -96 Additional phone lines due July 10, 1998 Akron, Columbus and Dayton will be upgraded To full DS3 transport during month of July. The mail server is mail.megsinet.net January 26, 1998 Megsinet updates it's policy for non "56K X2" customers who dial in to "56K X2" lines. As of Today any customer who dial's into a "56K X2" line will have their account automatically changed to a "PPP 56K X2" account which is $5.00 more per month. January 13, 1998 Megsinet adds a new server to "www.megsinet.com". This will make FTP file transfer faster and will allow more users to ftp simultaneously.
