sb, I agree! CPQ HAS great potential! Whether or not the management that is in place will be able to develop that potential in a timely fashion remains to be seen. I think that the real potential is in the Tandem area, as companies that are 'online' require the ability to remain 'online' while portions of their 'computer complex' are being repaired. Tandem offers this ability through their NonStop II complexes. While DEC has been good in the past, the recent technology that is coming along is narrowing the gap between what DEC can offer and what DELL will offer with the introduction Merced. JMHO - however.
