Give me a break. Have you been watching the stock trade? While I agree with the premise of your post, there is also vested interests for both long and short. The incentive for someone who is short the market would be to try to protect his/her interests by leaning on the stock. Do you want to refute that there is a 1.7 million share short position who has tremendous exposure if the news from Geneva is "substantial"? This market dynamic has to be factored into your equation as well.... Robert
