Edward,

I'm not sure of the legality of posting the article, but go for it if you think it's ok. I don't have a subscription to thestreet.com and would like to read the article.

The analysts at TheStreet.com have been following in Kurlak's bearish footsteps on semiconductor stocks for some time now so I'm expecting the article to present a bearish picture. You have to remember that some people make investment decisions based on fundamentals and others make decisions based on technical analysis. I use both with a big weighting on TA because I think the market discounts the future and I don't think fundamental analysts can see the future very well, nor do they account much for where the stocks are trading in relation to the company's future fundamentals.

Many fundamental analysts presume that stocks will trade lower just because the fundamental picture is bleak, and as we all know it doesn't always happen that way. By the time analysts see improvements in the fundamentals and change their outlook, the stocks will likely be much higher than they are now. The bottom line is that fundamentalists are not market timers while technicians are. Finally, not all semiconductor stocks have the same amount of downside risk and I think VLSI will outperform most of them over the next few months.

Many thanks for offering to post the article.

Dan
