Which version were you trying to buy? quotes-plus.com says 2.0 is on the way, but refer to version 1, which was priced at $29.95/$12.95 and may still be available. I didn't see any prices quoted at qp2.com

QP2 is 18.95 for stocks and IRL sector info and Market Data Fundamentals and fundamental scans up the wazoo. And 32 bit vs. 16 bit. Now if you prepay for a year- it is 17.08 a month or $4.13 a month more for a whole lot more stuff- That's $50 a year. Now how much do you pay in commissions on a trade- how many trades do you make in a year. I think for me it works out to about 10 cents a trade for the upgrade. g

Daniel, I upgraded to R2 about three weeks ago, after using R1 for about three months. The upgrade cost was the difference above my original purchase. Knowing what I do now, I would gladly pay even more for R2. I don't use the Fund data and don't pay for it. The index info and earlier download times were enough for me to not be concerned about the monthly increase. It is well worth you while to lurk here and specially to review all the posts since about June 15th. I did not have any significant problems installing or gett R2 to work properly. Best of luck, Im' sure you will like the S/W and the customer service. Roy
