doug, count me in among the appreciative ones for the political tempest in a teapot that permitted an absurd entry point. Who was that dude that accused me of an emotional post when all I said was "you're selling and I'm buying--no emotion, the ticker will make one of us a happy camper and I ain't losing sleep", or immortal words to that effect? Well, thanking you kindly as the saying goes.
doug me boy, my sniffer is getting all warm and fuzzy in the Teligent and Winstar direction. Can't figure out which is the 'right' horse but it may not make a difference: both seem to have a lot going for them. Right now I be leaning to the WCII boys primarily because they're not paying their CEO the equivalent of the Gross Domestic Product of Bolivia to run the show as is the case with Teligent. Still, Alex Mandl is supposed to be a hot product and they got big time corporate investors and a cool $1.6B in the bank so Teligent ain't chopped liver. Both of them are sitting on enough spectrum to choke a horse and neither of 'em paid squat diddily for it: combinations like that are the stuff of which beaucoup bucks can be made. Take a gander and report back--grades will be issued. :-) Mike Doyle
