Ordered two custom made fish tanks for the bottom shelves
of my racks ~36"X 24" X 12" 3/8" glass with canopies and
a divider the size of a side with a hole drilled through it.
This enables me to put the filter inside the tank. I just lose
3" of tank space. Any how the whole thing came to about $550.
The tank's about 40 gal. My 80 gal tank which was not custom
went for $200. Out of the $550, $380+ tax is for the tanks.
I guess paying double for something built custom vs. what it
cost off the rack ain't too bad. I ordered them from World
Class Aquarium in Brooklyn. They build better tanks than
the leading tank manufactures so I feel I'm getting at least
close to my monies worth. If you order a custom tank from a
pet store it takes much longer than 10-14 days and you pay
more for an inferrior tank. That's my story what have you
been wasting money on lately?
