I know I mentioned something about HAYZ a few months ago. Now Forbes has picked up the story.

Also, don't forget that expectations are so low and SEG's reserves from prior writedowns so high that perhaps they can meet numbers. The real question is whether industry fundamentals are improving and nobody seems to think so. Until then only HTCH interests me and only due to TSA.

Hi Larry,

-Warnings-

I too am very skeptical. The way I se it, it is more often the perceptions which drive stock prices rather than the facts. Your reference to last October highlights this perfectly. QNTM did not warn, just the opposite, following SEG's warning, MB reiterated QNTM's well being. They met their forecast, but the (correct in this case) perception of the market was that the DD biz was heading deep south and pulled the plug on all and sundry immediately.
Based upon this experience, I took WD's warning very seriously and decided to take the pain early
Generally people are reading less books. But is this a reason to sell AMZN and short all the publishing biz??
