Dear JSI: I agree with you. In fact, over at Yahoo, I just posted a message which points out the difference between PTUS and SEEC:

"I believe that I disagree with you, but am unsure as to how you're connecting SEEC with PTUS. Many times I thought about warning SEEC holders about the vulnerable position SEEC was in, but decided that
it would fall on deaf ears.

The fact of the matter is that SEEC and PTUS were in exactly the same position at the beginning of the 1st Quarter, in that, they were essentially "Y2K licensees". However, PTUS is a bigger player than
SEEC, went through merger integration issues and a change in its "business model" during the 1st Quarter, which led to a disappointing earnings report. However, during the 1st Quarter PTUS management became aware of a "change" in the marketplace. Customers wanted full remediation services, as opposed to licensing Y2K products and doing the work in-house.

Apparently, PTUS learned about this "marketplace" change prior to SEEC and acted on it. Perhaps, being such a small player, SEEC simply relied on its full remediation partners and had no direct contact
with clients. In any event, as of the current 2nd Quarter PTUS and SEEC are in different positions.

In any case, SEEC is experiencing this "shift" in the 2nd Quarter, as opposed to PTUS who experienced it in the 1st Quarter.

As a result, I don't see the connection with what SEEC has warned about and PTUS. As has been documented, PTUS responded to the marketplace and has been getting new contracts ever since.

Hope that helps."

"It's getting pretty frustrating to see this kind of erroneous reporting. It borders on liable, if you ask me."
