vladimir-

DRTECHs comments are (no offense to the good doctor) rumor and speculation right now. i dont think the company will be allowed to sell for less than 25, and that is IMHO a firesale price.

now, BEL will potentially put cap on 7 million lines. that means if the people who use those 7 million lines want ADSL, they will get WSTL modems. now, that sounds like a pretty solid endorsement of WSTLs technology dont you think?

and sure frame relay is cost effective...if you have a lot of frame relay equipment which GTE does. but at some point they will have to move to ATM.

BEL may very well buy 14 million modems. they may have to service 14 million customers wanting ADSL. as for the street, i make money off of their stupidity. i dont think WSTL is an exception.

that being said, 20/share in profit over 5 years is not unreasonable. BEL buying all of them may be unreasonable, but i think they company will sell that many.

good luck to all,
trey
