Well obviously someone had to buy the 5+ mil shares sold in the last month and it sure was not the shorts. Since the short intrest only dropped about 650K. I do belive they expect this stock to go to 0 soon. How else can anyone explain that they are not covering for a 100% profit?

VLAD: No offense but the Soros rumor was a rumor started in jest on the Yahoo thread. If wishful thinking meant much, you would personally be responsible for VVUS going through the roof <g>. Seriously, I know how much you want this stock to soar but this is basically a one product company whose product/marketshare came in a dismal second, if that. Viagra caused PFE to rise more than it should have but the bottom line is that VVUS management was in this field and got caught with their pants down. The last time I saw this was with LIPO which like VVUS was in the 40's and is now around 5 with little change of recovering. I really hope that VVUS takes off for you but I have serious doubts. VLAD: I don't know much, but I do know that there is no way ANYBODY can predict when a stock is going to be recommended by a brokerage house. Making such predictions calls into question any credibility you have established through your posts. I personally hope that VVUS goes to 100.00/share + change. But I have to frown upon anybody leading others to invest on the basis of innuendo and rumor. Some of the people who frequent these threads are in no position to be SPECULATING on VVUS at this juncture. I'll stay long for now and see what next week brings. Regards.
