Bob, Yes, The Internet Index Options (IIX), traded on the Amex are a nice conglomeration of big and small cap stocks with internet interest. In fact, the list of stocks strongly resembles Munder's NetNet Mutual Fund, so that opens hedging possibilities for a fund that was up 100% last year. Unfortunately, for some reason, these options trade by appointment only, only 400 or so last week, so the specialist tries to rip your face off on the spread. But they are so expensive anyway that you hardly notice. And you know with open interest of less than a thousand that mutual funds are not loaded up with them.

I like the concept.
