Shoes, whether or not this is a bubble will only be known retrospectively. Admittedly I play devils advocate on this but so does Steve Harmon who writes the internet report.

Major web players are selling for $100/unique user. Is this really exhorbitant, given the potential to sell products and services to people over the net. With time, more people will spend more time on the net than say, watching television. The net will be a better way into peoples homes than other media.

GNET has other advantages - its metacrawler is a great research tool - for students and for people at work. It enhances productivity by doing searches of search engines. Again GNET is selling for about 1/3 its peers on a per user basis and is most likely growing faster. I believe SI hits grew severalfold per year for the last 2 years.
