Why not? Some one needs to provide the entertainment. And yes, drinking beer and cart golf are very complementary to each other!

>>>I'd drive the cart and keep the beer cold....the only thing I've ever used a golf club for was for hunting...bats are for fishing, golf clubs are for hunting here in Michigan....

Tom, you crack me up (LOL). The scary thing is that I lived in Michigan for 14 years and know that there is some truth in what you say ;-)

Have a good and safe holiday weekend everyone.

Don

Another Fishing Trip update....

home.earthlink.net

Please bookmark/save this link, it will be used to communicate activities for the trip. I just wanted to say thanks to Richard (Bob's son-in-law), for creating this site. This is just a first cut, the site will be updated as new information is available. This site will also be used to create a new site to document the Fishing trip (TQR will be helping out with this). If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me.

Thanks,

Benny

Man Catches Fish -- With his Foot

AP
02-JUL-98

DODGEVILLE, Wis. (AP) Every angler wants to hear that the fish are biting. But not like this.

Dan Droessler, a police officer in Platteville, was vacationing in Governor Dodge State Park last week. As he dangled his foot over the side of a canoe, a 3-foot tiger muskie bit him on his foot.

When he yanked his injured foot back into the boat, the muskie came with it and landed in the boat. Droessler needed 60 stitches to close the gash.

To make matters worse, the state Department of Natural Resources confiscated the muskie and placed it in a freezer.

"We had to take it," warden Randy Rossing said. "It's not a legal size for one thing, and it's not a legal way to catch fish with your foot."

Droessler said he's talking with the DNR and will need a special permit to get the fish back.

Rossing said he's heard of similar incidents in Wisconsin, so maybe Droessler shouldn't feel so bad. The emergency room where he was treated did its part to lighten things up -- it memorialized the muskie with a photo and a sign reading "man-eating fish."

Droessler wasn't amused: "I don't think it's funny at all."
