Isn't Robbie Stephens analyst Eric Upin, who has been a long-time Vantive supporter. How closely tied in is Piper Jaffray? Based on very limited anecdotes it sounds like Vantive is just growing at a slightly lower rate than some people had expected. If that is the situation, I might expect management to go ahead and report revenues that meet expectations but to offer cautionary guidance. (Pure speculation). Unless it's a major miss, Vantive's valuation seems very attractive. Still, I'm waiting until the announcement before picking up any additional shares.
