Topic: Tech Market Characteristics for 1998

As I sit contemplating the way the techs have played this year, what I find so interesting is the inexhaustible run in the internet stocks and the lack of rotation into anything else. There has been little bounce in a lot of the techs that are normally more in play.

What I would expect latter is the this; the internet stocks fully top out and crash and then you get the rotation. I think we will see rotation, I don't think we will see a crash of the internet stocks bringing down everything. It may well be many months before this happens, but it will happen. I'll be surprised if it doesn't. I'm starting to think I sound like Barton Biggs two years ago.
