Thanks for the info.

I did some searches, and reading- my take is that VM Labs is a true threat to 3DFX. Can anyone with access to recent analyst downgrades see if this was indeed a factor?

The weakness of the product is that it depends on a successful launch of DVD players. Opinions on time scale of significant market penetration of DVD into consumer market?
