I was not in VVUS before Nov. 1997. Therefore, did no notice your October 19,1997 post. I read very well of your Mar 15 1998 post. I was out at $13 in the last up-swing (the last chance?) Though I sold half the day before at $8.
I have given up shorting strategy after I longed VVUS. VVUS taught me not shorting an issue because I can not see the financial and emotional suffering from unexperienced investors (I am not blaming shorts. This is just my discipline. I therefore avoided losing shirts from shorting high flyers like AMZN, YHOO, AOL)

The whole picture of MUSE sale is probably not that bad considering the VVUS billing process ( billing before selling) and international sale where pill has not been approved. The first call already lowed three times recently (analysts considered the worst situation?) I would think the institutions might want another up-swing before they dump and leave VVUS in the cold. Considering these factors, I am considering put a limit buy at $5 1/2. The down risk is probably $0.5 considering the short covering support in any big dip. The up potential is probably $10 given that projected annual sales. However, the chart trend is extremely bearish, my limit order might be filled next Monday.
How much do you think the Rx data directly affect the momentum of this issue? Any take of the next week's scenario (Rx data Monday, earning and CC Thursday).
Again, I enjoyed my investing in CS and EVI. I tried to not fall in love with an issue. Loss is loss, ego is a luxury I can not afford.
