Just spoke to my father about the term "net revenue". He was an accountant for about 40 years. He said the term net revenue is not used very often. His explanation of what it means went like this: XYZ sells T-shirts and made $1000.00 in a quarter. In that same quarter $200.00 worth of T-shirts were returned. The net revenue is $800.00 for the quarter. From the net revenue you would then subtract your other expenses, which is exactly how the example I showed earlier did it. Message 4022. I did email Gary B. and I still think it was just an incorrect use of an accounting term.

saturday and Martin Dane
FYI - He said he would have no qualms about confirming a news story that was already public information. Not a big deal. He also made it clear he would go No further than that.

OK I've been doing some more thinking. I can only come up with 3 possible explanations for the use of "net revenue".

1. It was an honest mistake.

2. Someone at GLOW is incompetent and doesn't know what they are doing.

3. GLOW knows exactly what they are doing and IF, 3 or 6 months from now GLOW does not meet their projections they can turn around and say, our projections were based on EPS before expenses. I's not our fault you people don't know what NET REVENUE means.

I really hope the answer is #1, and Gary confirms this.
