I'm in another country,do you mean shorts are being FORCED to buy in????

What country are you watching this from? But yes, as they lose capital due to the short stock increasing in value, it can gut one, and badly. Remember they only win when it goes down. The shorts need to keep adding money to cover the position so the broker doesn't lose a cent, and the broker will close them out of positions to make sure. So if one shorted at $50, you have lost all your money when it hit 100. The brokerages will typically close you out when you have ~ 30% capital ratio. So yes, shorts are being FORCED to buy to cover. Unless you have another sack of cash under the bed to cover the mistake. -nfg-

Great game if one has the cash, maybe, and traders clean up if they can see the electricity coming down the wire, and let go before they are crispy critters.
