Please elaborate. I take it you would recommend PUTS for the above. All of the above look like PUT candidates to me.

Well okay:

HWP: I don't have any solid numbers of facts. I just know that they are losing a lot of market share in every category and the service is going to hell which is going to cost them a lot of business customers (their only customers).

SUNW: Well Sun is obvious. They are going to lose a lot of business to CPQ+DEC. Alpha's make great web serving machines. Also Xeons will encroach on their turf. Add to this the delay in the Ultra III's and Netscape's new found love of MS and Sun is in trouble. (they are wasting too much time on java and forgetting about their core business)

CSCO: Cisco is going to face some very serious challenges from NT, COMS/Siemens (they are teamed up). Not to mention the likely continuation of buyout trends CSCO will have their toughest competition in years. Plus with their non-interoperable solutions they are losing business (slowly now but I expect that trend to pick up).

NSCP: Do I even need bother ;-)
