HI Daniel,

Actually that web site is being abandoned for one currently under construction. With all the work involved in getting QPR2 ready for market and making sure everyone that upgraded or purchased new would get a quality product and support if needed, and the old site was not important to that goal. Therefore I expect it to soon be shut down in favor of the new site with all QP2 information.

I know Gary is not Blind siding anyone and He will bend over backward to have happy customers.

Enjoy R2 and Please share your findings with all.

Arctic Mike

This is a sign or a small company with a great product- released by popular demand before all the i's were dotted and t's crossed on the marketing side. IMO

Daniel,

Let me get this straight. You talked a sales person at QP and ordered the software and they never told you the cost and you never asked...

Get with the program. R2 is the best deal out there. If you can find better software and data service for the money, I would love to know...

I agree that gary should update his web site, but the man can only do such much. There was a lot of demand for QP2 so he made the correct decision and started to ship to customers. I don't feel the website is misleading. No where does it indicate the cost of R2.

Finally, which is no excuse for anyone. but, if you had researched and read this forum you could have found that data has been posted here numerous times...

Sean

Daniel, I fought the installation process with more determination then any other program. Why? Because of this thread. And I'm glad I did. I love this little piece of code. It's awesome. It's a great deal. It's not Microsoft (which is a good thing) and the "bill gates" even sends you a note from time to time...

Tech support is very good too. Sure it would be nice to have an updated web site, a big manual with all the scanning code explained, etc, blah , blah, blah. But given the choice, I'd rather have this thing in my hands now. I want good code not full color glossy marketing hype.

Great work Gary and the Q+ team!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No place has QP2 prices been published only QP1.
Seems like a problem on QP part and yours, although when I called to order QP2( I knew the price couldn't stay the same with the additional information and function) the prices were clearly explained to me..
QP1 vs QP2 is like comparing apples and oranges..
I life I always ask what something is going to cost..
Don't understand what the price of QP1 has to do with price of QP2,
in your mind..
