Thursday July 16, 10:44 pm Eastern Time Box Hill forms alliance w/Quisar Informatica NEW YORK, July 16 (Reuters) - Box Hill Systems Corp. said it has formed a strategic alliance with Quisar Informatica, S.A., a premier Spanish distributor of storage products. The provider of high-speed enterprise storage and backup solutions to the Open Systems marketplace said in a statement that the alliance will bring scalable, cross-platform storage solutions to the telecommunications, financial, consulting and other industries in Spain. As part of the alliance, Quisar will resell Box Hill's Ultra SCSI and Fibre Channel RAID storage and backup solutions to a high-end customer base. The companies will also be participating in a joint marketing campaign. Madrid-based Quisar Informatica is a reseller and solutions provider of storage products in Spain, including backup and storage systems, consulting services, installation, training and maintenance.
