I think the Mutual Fund flows are more significant that money supply at this point AND since there also have been withdrawals from MMs, that looks to me like a flight to bonds. What do you think?

We may be seening a major short covering episode in the markets which certainly is bearish if so.

Some of the leaders including GE and IBM look bullish short term (up to a week) but the utilities, which (supposedly) forecast interest rate changes 6 months out, are looking bearish???
