CENDANT OWNS 10% of EXCITE... According to a post on the CD board. I know JC is a big Cendant lover.. I just came across a VERY interesting post on the Cendant board.. at... www3.techstocks.com According to this post..and a post at yahoo..Cendant is the BENEFICIAL owner of 10% of excite.. Whats even MORE interesting is that IF this is the case.. THE MARKET VALUE INCREASE OF THEIR POSITION IN EXCITE ALONE SINCE THE ACCOUNTING PROBLEM WAS DISCOVERED WOULD WIPE OUT THE ENTIRE CENDANT ACCOUNTING LOSS.
