Raymond, The answer to your question of "why would He question the title of good", is this. No human can keep the commandments. Only God can keep them. God, or in this case Jesus as part of the trinity, knows that only He can keep the commandments, so the "question" of this man being good was not the point (Jesus knew this man was stretching the truth). He further tells him to sell all of his wealth and "come and follow ME". Therein tells the full tale. Since no human can keep the commandments, the ONLY way to have eternal life is to follow Jesus.
