Jean, Nice Whisper website. Only one problem though, they don't give the source of their information so their is no way to confirm and there is no way to know what their motivation is.

Whispers are very dangerous numbers. If sources are analysts they may have some validity. Most I suspect though are from individuals and firms trying to push the stock for their own interest and therefore should be suspect.

Hi!!! Thanks for the link...was just discussing the earnings number with a close friend...from his standpoint ....figuring the earnings on Dell this qt. will be quite difficult...the ASP and large number of units will cause too many variables...just his opinion and I do agree...but, the thing that makes me feel confident is not someone's whisper number...it is what management is saying to us...they underestimate.
