steve,

Wendell isn't dead. He lives on in all of us. I believe he was a mountain of a man......or a mountain man....or a mailman. He was very tall for a short man. His wit could cut like a knife....or he could cut wit a knife....I just don't recall.

Wendell symbolized the perfect poster. No hype. Just the facts. Deep research. Common sense. Polite and kind.

Wendell would never post on a message board in a vicious way......Unless he felt like the dirty bum had it coming, in which case he would unload both barrels as Wendell the Ruthless. It was a Jeckle and Holmes thing.

Jean....You are much like Wendell.....as I remember the big lug. You post links that educate and unload on those who have it coming. I award you the Wendell tonight for just being you........For all you do, my next Bud's for you. The Commission thinks you're OK.

Thanks for your time,

The "Widard of Oz"

steve and all,

This is dated 4/13/98 and it tells the REASONS why the INS has been so slow to roll out IDENT. Read it carefully - a lot of good stuff - too much to summarize.
