Thinking strictly about this world Raymond, aren't you? What if God was talking about eternal death. Not in this life, but the next. Is that possible? Come on Raymond, think! Most people always think of the here and now. But God frequently speaks of the eternal life, like this one!

PS- By the way it does not say immediately die or struck down. It just says die. So did Muhammad die? I don't see him around today! So the verse does not necessarily have to mean eternal death, although in my opinion it does!
