Thanks for the response. I agree, the deep OTM puts look cheap, but one needs to have an idea of the time frame for the trip closer to 10. A close watch would seem the best bromide for that. The higher it goes, the shorter term the prospects. My gut was at 50-ish, three years max or less. At 100-ish, a year or less. At 150-ish, 6 months or less. A split would put more script out there and add one or two months extension. And a parabolic kick with gaps up -- three days or less. These are gut feel time frames. I certainly would not want to try to call this one too closely. All--remember Mr. Babb's advice--keep plenty of margin.
