John - ...3 of 10 of their partners have stopped taking on new Y2k due primarily to liability issues...
I am not at all surprised about the liability issues. Are people reading SI posts here and use our conjecture to fine tune their business?
Yes, John. y2k is a tough business. But the smart ones will manage to get enough $ to get them into expanding into the lucrative web migration /maintenance business. When negotiating deals, one needs to be fair but TOUGH in spelling out the liability. It's not worth taking on liability for these silly y2k project managers. The rumor is that when you get appointed as the y2k 2000 manager, you are ready for early retirement. Your comments are right on.

Will anyone from this thread be able to attend the annual meeting? We want to ask the CEO some tough questions. Most important, they need to start releasing every bit of news. I was frustrated. "numbers will speak for themselves" does not hold water in this market. Ram
