Hi Charles!
I don't see how a report like this about the future of Israeli stocks can be ignored. I appreciate your offer to send me news about some Israeli start ups but I am not in position to make any changes. I am firmly committed to 9 Israeli stocks that I intend to hold for a year and a half so I can enjoy a 20% long term capital gain tax, VocalTec is home, some others are almost there. As you know, I am not a trader. So, please don't tempt me to make any changes. With the exception of FTEL and ARLCF all of the stocks I own have been recommended by either Shlomi Cohen or Omer Shvili, almost all by both. As far as I am concerned, they are my porfolio managers. Since we are discussing Israeli stocks, I hope no one will be offended by this off topic information: I own the following Israelis stocks VocalTec voclf, Pharmos pars, Data Systems dssi, Arel arlcf, Sapiens Insternational spnsf, Tower Seimconductor tsemf, M-Systems Flash flshf, and Galileo Technology galtf. Galileo Tech, galtf soared to 46 1/2 and then took a dive to 9 3/4, far worse than VocalTec. I lucked out and just bought 10,000 shares @ 11.66. I did so on the basis of the continuing strong recommendation of Shlomi Cohen, in spite of its decline, which he attributed to unwarranted causes. You may want to check out Galileo in his portfolio, see what he paid for it, and read his past and current comments. The only other stock I own is Franklin Telecom, ftel in which you and others have expressed great confidence. Again, thanks for offering to send me information about Israeli startups, but please don't tempt me. Once I am committed to what I think is a good stock, I make few if any changes. I am not bothered the least by trader induced fluctuations in value.
Kindest regards,
Don
