You should be careful with voice input. There was a newspaper reporter who got carpral tunnel and switched to voice input . . . soon he suffered from something worse . . . permanent loss of voice (he can only speak in a whisper). Apparently regular speech is very varied. You seldom make exactly the same sound, even for the same word, in regular speech. However many voice recognition programs require a monotonic speech. This is very stressful on the vocal cords and can literally burn them out.
