ALL: If you are looking for a _FAST_ machine go out and buy: 1 IBM MPRO 6889 with Dual PII 400's 640Megs of ram and dual 9.1 scsi harddrives!.. HOLY $HIT.. Paul, (I know you will love to here this).. this is the FASTEST PC I have _EVER_ seen in my life.. infact it is so fast it is truly a machine I dream about.. I am think about buying one for home!.. ...as long as AMD and NSM continue to exit for low end and ALPHA for high end. Now, the customers has other choices, and INTEL is not the only source for CPUs, and the fat profit is hard to hold. Simply in terms of market share, this argument has no weight in the current environment. Maybe someday, but not now, not next year, and maybe not ever....
