Amazon and how many other retailers will be selling
books, software, music on the net? I'll guess 1,000
by year's end, 10,000 by end of '98, 35,000 by end
of '99, each group (software, books, music) having
prominent "lowest cost" search screens.

> I thought the float was at 6mil? you said 15mil.

This issue of float gets kicked around a lot. Marketguide says 6 mil.
but I think they're wrong. Pull the proxy statement off Edgar, and
you'll see that the insiders own about 65% of the shares. That
leaves 35%, or about 17 mil. These approx. figures, and we don't
know how liquid those 35% are. We also don't know when the insiders
and VC's decide to step in and add their shares to the float.
I think Marketguide says 6 mil. based on pre-split (pre June) shares.
